Fun to play and I liked the inclusion of the odd juxtaposition that often comes from observing other species going about their lives. It's an inherently outsider-looking-in experience, there's a barrier there, and it's interesting how this game makes it apparent.
Thank you! I'm glad I made it so apparent, I tend to think about that outsider-looking-in experience a lot when I'm taking photos of insects/wildlife and it seemed like a great thing to make a game out of.
It left me very ruminative! In life, I think I have such thoughts when I search for birds and other wildlife. And thank you for sharing your script publically- I've been trying hard to figure out how to keep track of the word count for my own project without it looking messy and this is giving me some inspiration!
Thank you! Yeah felt, I've always had these kinds of thoughts when looking around outside for animals to photograph. And no problem at all! Yeah, especially with Twine games I've found that using a Google Doc for word counting and separating each passage with line breaks has been very useful. I'm glad I gave you inspiration for that! :)

Oh this was a nice little vignette! I love looking around for critters, there is so much to find, if you look.
Thanks so much! I love looking for critters too, it feels like each time I do I discover something new :)
How many bugs are there to find in total?
Five!
Great! I found them all. Particularly happy to find a roly-poly, or as I would call it, a woodlouse, or slater. :)

Simple but effective! I really liked how it brightened up with each choice. Adding an urgency to your choices.
Thank you so much! I definitely wanted it to feel like that, since the sun was meant to be slowly rising :)
